Taylor-Wilton Nelson Ltd. has been locally owned and operated since 1946. Jack Taylor and Hedley Wilton partnered to create a much needed automotive parts store after World War 2.
In 1967 Hedley Wilton sold to Jack Taylor. Years later, Jack Taylor sold to Allan MacDonald and Roy Evans. The business was then sold in 1999 to 4 employees including Brian Peel who became the sole owner in 2008.
Gilbert Parts Depot purchased Taylor-Wilton Nelson (TWN) on January 1st 2020 becoming the 4th location.
